Although encompassing a team of licensed/ regulated / registered migration agents and immigration lawyers (official registrations), the MIGRATION BUREAU is a private immigration and relocation consultancy, and charges time-based fees in a similiar way to other professional practices. Our services are designed to identify your own individual visa application pathway and to protect you from the significant risk of failure or substantial delay in the relocation process.
Although no gaurantees of success can be given, our past success rate is close to 98.5% of qualifying, lodged permanent residence outcomes.
FEES FOR IMMIGRATION ASSESSMENTS & IMMIGRATION ADVICE
The Migration Bureau does charge for comprehensive FULL-CHECK immigration assessments starting at a cost of GBP195, Euro190, or NZD$290 per family unit*, and on-going visa case work with our licensed / registered migration agents and immigration lawyers.
Please note: Government visa fees, disbursements and third party costs are always additional.
If your circumstances change, you can stop our service at any time WITHOUT PENALTY or further charge, other than a small file closure / document return fee. You can also take over your case yourself at any time and you will only be responsible for our time/costs incurred up to the date of termination. However, no refunds are provided for uncompleted applications.
We do NOT charge for joboffers but we do offer some paid career counseling and C.V. services.
OPTIONAL: The Essential Guide to Settlement Service provided by our relocation advisory division, ODG Associates, involve an additional cost, as do Employment Appraisal Reports and C.V. Preparation Service provided by ODG Recruitment .

VISA PROCESSING - FULL CASE MANAGEMENT
The Migration Bureau offers a FULL CASE MANAGEMENT service, meaning that we can handle most aspects of the residence visa application and relocation process for you. Our service provides you with full representation and our experienced consultants can directly with the immigration authorities and other official bodies on your behalf.
The general nature of fees are agreed in advance with the final fee depending on case complexity and the type of visa processing required. Furthermore, your advance written approval is always required for any purchases of additional time or quotation allocations should these be required later in the process.
WRITTEN FEE QUOTATION
You will receive a written fee quotation with your FULL-CHECK IMMIGRATION ASSESSMENT BEFORE you commit to the visa process or to the services of the Migration Bureau. But as a general indication, our fees are in the several thousands, and not a few hundreds.
CONVENIENT "PAY AS YOU GO" PAYMENT OPTIONS
The Migration Bureau has a range of "pay-as-you-go" payment plans, providing you with a variable fee range so you can choose how much assistance you need. Apart from an initial "sign-on" fee (where applicable), our consultants charge on a time-recording basis in a similiar way to other professional practices, or they will charge you a monthly file management fee, meaning that you pay on a progressive basis, as and when work is completed on your application**
WHATS EXCLUDED? - AREAS OF "CLIENT OWN RISK" AND "CLIENT OWN RESPONSIBILITY"
All clients must accept areas of "client own risk" and "client own responsibility". Due to the constantly changing nature of the immigration regulations and client's own personal circumstances, we strictly do NOT operate a "no win, no fee" refund policy, as we charge on a time-recording basis in a similiar way to other professional practices.
.Our services are designed to increase your likelihood of success. The areas of "client own risk" and client own responsibility" are outlined in the Service Agreement which clients sign as they proceed.
* With the exception of paid Employment Appraisal and Career Counselling services and Essential Guide to Settlement.
**With the exception of initial Full-Check immigration evaluation fees, initial "sign-on" fees, and Basic Visa Service sign-on fees.
+ All amounts charged in New Zealand dollars from our New Zealand Head Office in an equivalent foreign currency. For credit-cards payments, final amount billed may differ slightly due to exchange rate differences. Please first check to see if your individual credit card provider charges foreign currency transaction fees as you may be responsible for these costs.
