By choosing the right kind of professional help, you can greatly improve your likelihood of being granted your visa. This is why as a client of the Migration Bureau, a dedicated migration consultant and advisor/lawyer will be assigned to your case.

YOUR OWN MIGRATION CONSULTANT

Once you have indicated that you wish to proceed, you will be assigned a Migration Consultant who handles the day-to-day clerical and settlement/jobsearch aspects of your case, and also a licensed/regulated/registered migration agent or Lawyer who will be responsible for overseeing your visa application and for providing "specific immigration advice" under our ODG IMMIGRATION ADVICE brand (which handles all regulated matters).

As we do not routinely offer face-to-face personal consultations, for you convenience, all our work is over the phone, skype email, and post with all specific immigration advice provided to you solely in writing.

Firstly, our consultants/advisors will request and review your documents and then set-out your individual immigration pathway. Depending on what your documents say, some changes in your pathway may occur at this stage so we encourage clients to be as flexible as possible.

Your consultant/advisor can supervise the preparation of a fully-documented visa application in accordance with the current immigration regulations. Submissions to support your application will be promptly co-ordinated and checked for suitability, including the translation and legislation of documentation and careful coordination of time-sensitive documents such as medical tests, language tests and police reports.

OFFICIAL QUALIFICATION AND TRADES RECOGNITION

A critical part of the visa application process involves arranging for your qualifications to be officially recognised by the relevant academic or industry assessing body. You will then be issued with a locally recognised certificate that will match your qualification to the equivalent local qualification and explain it in terms that local employers will understand. It is also required in order for your residence visa application to be successful. 

Our consultants are experienced in the processing of qualification and trades recognition applications with the following and other official bodies: NZQA, TRA, VETASSESS, ACS, AIM, EEE, etc. Our consultants can handle all the paperwork on your behalf and the preparation and submission of your application. They can then liaise with the relevant body to deal with any follow-up questions or practical assessment requests. It is often important that you get this stage completed in order to be able to lodge your residence visa application.

AUSTRALIAN TRADE SKILLS RECOGNITIONS: Are you a unqualified tradesperson with more than 4 years work experience? We can help you gain official trades recognition and your residence visas! We handle VETASSESS, TRA and RPL (recognised prior learning) skills and trades assessments.

COMPILING DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE

One of the most important aspects of your case is the support documentation that accompanies your application. The immigration authorities will require supporting documentary evidence covering every aspect of your application and this is where many applicants make mistakes.

Your consultant can work with you to ensure that your work references, qualification and trades diplomas and evidence of your relationship (where applicable) are presented in the prescribed format.

Your net worth can be evidenced by way of formal property evaluations and bank/financial statements. Your consultant can handle all the necessary currency conversions and will liaise closely with a chartered accountant should it be necessary for you to provide certified financial statements.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Once complete, your application can be submitted to the immigration authorities, in the format recommended by the authorities themselves. Your migration consultant can monitor the processing of your application, liaise with the immigration authorities and respond to any questions raised by the authorities. At every stage in the process your consultant can provide written advice and regular progress reports, together with on-going supervision and advancement of your case.

OUR VISA RECOMMENDATION \

We apply our expertise and experience to your application. To reinforce your visa application, when requested, our officially-registered migration consultants can submit a formal visa recommendation. This written recommendation will;-

1. outline the specific visa that they believe you & your family are eligible for,
2. clarify your application by focussing on specific government immigration policies and procedures.
3. indicate reasons for the chosen visa class.

In this way, the visa recommendation can help by avoiding unnecessary delays.

APPLICATION SUCCESS

Upon the approval of your application, your migration consultant will arrange the issuing of residence visas and will remain available to provide advice and guidance on your options regarding citizenship and returning residence visas (re-entry visas).
