GO AUSTRALIA – Enjoy fun in the sun!
IMPORTANT STUFF
To enrol onto the Programme, you MUST satisfy all the following criteria;-
- You must have turned 18, but not turned 31, when you enrol on our Programme and lodge your Working Holiday Visa (WHV) application (subclass 417) with the Australian Department of Immigration (DIAC).
- You MUST hold a valid passport from any of the following countries: Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Ireland, Italy, Korea (Republic of), Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and the United States.(1)
- You must NOT have entered Australia on this visa before and you must NOT take dependent children with you.
- You MUST possess savings of at least AU$5000 and, at the time of applying, a return air ticket in and out of Australia.
- You MUST be outside Australia at the tIme of applying for your first Working Holiday Visa.
- At the time of applying for your WHV, your passport MUST be valid for at least one year or preferably longer. If not, please obtain a new passport before proceeding.
- You MUST read, speak, understand, and write ENGLISH reasonably well.

Notes:
- US Citizens MUST have graduated from High School or completed an equivalent qualification (eg. university bridging course). The visa for US Citizens is a "Work and Travel Visa, Subclass 462
- For all applicants - At the end of your 12 months stay in Australia, you are strictly required to leave BEFORE the expiry date of your visa, (unless you have been granted an extension**).
- All applicants are required to meet Australian health criteria. Although unlikely, depending on your circumstances, you may be asked to undertake a medical examination which may include a chest x-ray, HIV, Hepatitis B and/or Hepatitis C test (cost is for the applicant). You must sign a declaration that you will respect Australian values and obey the laws of Australia. You must meet character requirements and must not have any serious criminal convictions involving a prison sentence. Please contact us to complete a Full-Check immigration assessment firstly to check your eligibility for the WHV if you do.
**Want to extend your stay in Australia? – Apply for a second working holiday visa for a further 12 months! - People who have worked in a specified industry in regional Australia for a minimum of three months (88 days) while on their first Working Holiday Visa, may be eligible to apply for a second Working Holiday Visa for a further 12 month stay. Further information is available at www.immi.gov.au – This is not covered in our programme.
